Gletscherspalte im Eispalast am Dachstein!
Erstmals im gesamten Alpenraum wird es den Gästen möglich gemacht, völlig gefahrlos und leicht zugänglich den Blick in eine echte Gletscherspalte zu gewähren. Bis zu 80cm große Eiskristalle, natürlich gewachsen und das inmitten einer Gletscherspalte warten auf die Besucher. Der „Dachstein Eispalast“ entführt die Gäste tief in das Innere des Dachstein-Gletschers...

NEW: Dachstein Ice Palace - investigate the Dachstein glacier from inside
Catch the fascination of the dazzling ice of glaciers and the mystic aura of Dachstein.
Enter the throne hall, the crystal dome and the blue salon. Ice, light, mysterious sounds and film stars from the film Ice Age await you in the Dachstein Ice Palace.
Further winter highlights: Skiing on the Dachstein glacier – 3000 m on top of the world on sunny, leisurely slopes; the el dorado of skiing tours, including the “Austrian National Skiing Tour”, the “Dachstein Crossing” and, of course, the “Dachstein Sky Walk", the most spectacular viewing platform of the alps.

Dachstein offers:
• Up to 18 km of groomed cross-country ski trails: Cross-country skiing in the footsteps of
world champions.
• "Burton Superpark“ for snowboarders and freeskiers is setting new standards for the design
of fun parks: Rails, Kickers, Corner offer everything to make the hearts of snowboarders and
freeskiers beat faster.
• Dachstein is the starting point for many skiing tours. The “Austrian National Skiing Tour” also
sets out from the Dachstein crossing. 15 further tour offers are in the immediate vicinity.
• Freeride slope “Edelgries”. While you’re at Dachstein, don’t miss the adventure of “Freeride
Edelgries”. Sured-footedness and advanced ability are required to weave your way over the
south mountain back to Ramsau. Insiders consider this the most enjoyable freeride descent
in the alps.
• The Dachstein glaciers are ideal for alpine skiers both beginners and experts and very well
suited for starting into the winter season.
• New climbing and hiking tours
In close collaboration with local mountain guides and alpine clubs, many new climbing
routes and tours have been created, and mountain paths have been restored. The fixed
rope routes “Der Johann” and “Irg” are both famous and notorious.
• Dachstein Panoramic Restaurant. Those preferring a cosier atmosphere stop at the
Dachstein Panoramic Restaurant for excellent service at 2,700 m.
