More than 50 years ago formarin opened its doors.
Since then it has always been a family property. It is our lifework,
we live and work here in the third generation already. Together with our kids
Elisa and Alexander we are constantly trying to make the most for of your holidays.

The hearts of our whole family beat for our hotel formarin. The motivation for it is shown by the loving decorated details and arrangements in the house. We care a lot about our guests and want to show our attention to them. Our objective is to make our guest’s holidays the very best possible. All the pleasure we give gets back to us – our returning guests confirm that every year, coming back to us and spending their holidays with us.

Hospitality with ambience

Wilhelm is the boss of the hotel simultaneously spoiling you with his delicious food. The range of the menu reaches from traditional regional dishes to international cuisine. With every half board dinner we offer a large buffet with salads, vegetables and antipasti. Complementary to that, Wilhelm also holds a sommelier diploma and can help you pair the right wine to your course.

Many people return again for our traditional Austrian puddings and pastries. You can see how our chef wants to sweeten up their lives.

The pure nature which surrounds us in Lech is utterly stunning. But we probably take it for granted . Just by looking out the window you can enjoy amazing views on our surrounding mountains Wöster, Rüfikopf, Omeshorn, Schafberg and Mehlsack. The picturesque view of Lech is unique.

You can enjoy this beauty just out of your window or from our sun terrace with a good meal or a nice Glühwine just after skiing.

Our terrace is facing west and south down to Lech and invites you to a delicious lunch meal, a drink in the afternoon, to sit in the sun and relax or even to take your aperitif.

The beauty of the surrounding mountain is outstanding and you can see the whole centre of Lech better than in any other place. Whether you read a book, have a good conversation, just relax or watch the skiers directly passing by on the slope our staff is happy to serve you cold and hot drinks as well as food.

After skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or walking there comes a time for relaxation. For moments of recovery our spa “formarium” is available for you. Here you can find a colour-bio-sauna, a finnish sauna, an infrared cabin and a sole steam bath. Gentle colours, warmth from the fireplace and flowing water that runs over stones create a special atmosphere. Enjoy the simplicity of calmness, blend away all the stress from everyday life and relax your muscles. For refreshment you will find a station with tea, juices and healthy snacks.

Holidays? Relaxation? Pleasure? Let us treat you with one of our massages from our well trained masseuses. Or maybe you look for presents for your loved ones and give them a piece of quiet. The newly refurnished massage room is ready and is the perfect atmosphere to get you relaxed from head to toe.

If you still feel like more training after a long day of skiing or if you just like to work out, our fitness room is always open to satisfy your needs. Equipped with a treadmill, a bike, a cross-trainer and machines to train your core muscles.
For your entertainment there is a TV, radio, music or simply Lech TV where you can find out about the latest news in and around Lech to keep you updated.

• Garage

Convenience at its best with our garage “Spitzenegg”. On your arrival day you park your car comfortably in the garage and leave it there till the end of your stay. Independent of the weather conditions there is no more clearing snow off the car or iced windows. With your parking ticket you are free to do trips with your car but you won’t really need it around Lech because the public transports work really well around here and you don’t have to walk far. Let your car have a break during your holidays as well.

Not only your car has a garage. Your winter sports gear has one too. In our newly refurbished ski room you will find your own locker with the number of your room on it. So not only is your car safe, your skis and snowboards are too.
