Go on a "Schlitterroasn"
Bad Goisern trumps in the winter with the Trockentann toboggan run. The toboggan run is part of the Nordic Center of Ramsau, located in the “Schadseit” of Bad Goisern. A very traditional winter sport where fun comes first.
On the 2 kilometer downhill run the fun is guaranteed on the "Schlitterroasn *" This leisure activity remains a popular winter sport not only for the younger ones, but after about 40 minutes ascent you reach the toboggan huts, which are open even in winter months with good snow conditions. For the descent on the sled, the dry run offers two possibilities: the floodlit toboggan run, which is the former World Cup course in 1992, or the unlit forest road, which offers itself as a toboggan run.
At the parking lot in Ramsau you can rent toboggans for free. You can take the sledges out of a wooden hut and bring them back after your run.
The Trockentann toboggan run is closed between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. and between 4 p.m. and 6.30 p.m., as at this time, the landlords drive to the cabins by car.
