Weiden Landscape Wine Trail

A walk along the Weiden Landscape Wine Trail is worthwhile, as you will learn a lot of interesting facts about Weiden am See and the whole region. Weiden am See also belongs to the national park municipalities, the "Zitzmannsdorfer Wiesen" conservation area is therefore part of the Neusiedler See - Seewinkel National Park. It is particularly inspiring because of the many orchid species and the bird life. Parts of the municipal area belong to the Natura 2000 area of Lake Neusiedl. The idyllic landscape of the Zitzmannsdorf meadows, the wide fields of the Parndorfer Platte and the cultural landscape of the numerous vineyards invite you to extensive cycling tours and hikes.
