Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus

Since 1391 the church in Reith is known as St. Nicholas church. In the year
1751 the village received its own pastor. Until then it had been
from Zirl. In the years 1832 to 1835, the new building of the
nave and tower of the church, incorporating the late Gothic masonry.
This gave it its present dimensions and shape. In 1892 the village was
the village was burned down and the church was destroyed with it.
In 1895, after the completion of the building shell, the consecration of the new
church could take place. In the years between 1911 and 1921, the interior of the church was decorated
the interior of the church. After the church was destroyed during the six
air raids in 1945, the reconstruction of the church was completed in 1950.
In 1950 the reconstruction of the church was completed.
In 1989 and 1990 the interior of the church was extensively renovated.
