Kort beskrivning: The Veitsch is considered one of the most beautiful mountains in Hochsteiermark and also a true flower mountain like the Hochschwab. Today's stage of the hiking route "From glacier to wine" leads us steadily uphill over alpine pastures and in between shady forests - a total of almost 1,400 meters of ascent await us - to the Graf-Meran-Haus, wonderfully located just below the summit.
