La Val is on the way to become a hiking village. Step by step the village is striving to receive the certification and to be the first village in South Tyrol to do so.

The Armentara and Rit meadows, famous for the multitude of flowers that characterise them especially during the springtime, are just above La Valle. A walk, a mountain bike ride or a Nordic walking tour to the Armentara and Rit meadows at the foot of the Santa Croce mountain, is a must for all nature and mountain lovers.
The Sasso Santa Croce (Sass dla Crusc in Ladin) is itself a popular destination appreciated for its wide variety of flowers like for example, wild orchids, and animals as well as over 50 species of birds.

Once a week there will be organized an excursion with the hotel manager Harald.

Every day guided tours, free rental of gear (backpack, trekking poles, flasks), hiking maps but especially precious advices of the manager Harald.
