Today, the Walser people of Obersaxen are not only free, but can also enjoy the sun terrace high above the Surselva that was settled by their ancestors. For example, by mountain bike on the route to Vorderalp, which is also very suitable for beginners. There is complete peace and quiet up here, apart from the cowbells that provide the background noise in the alpine summer. And, of course, the quiet hiss of the studded tires on the numerous asphalt passages.
