Hill route starting from the historic center of Chieri. After a first flat section leading to Pessione di Chieri (historic site of Martini & Rossi, visitable by reservation), continue towards Riva near Chieri and Arignano. With a small detour, you can overlook Lake Arignano, before climbing into the town center, next to the Rocca di Arignano, an ancient medieval castle. The road becomes undulating as you continue towards Moncucco Torinese among hazelnut groves and vineyards. A must-see stop is the Abbey of Santa Maria di Vezzolano, in Romanesque-Gothic style, near Albugnano, the highest point of the route. The little road from Albugnano to Pino d'Asti and then to Castelnuovo Don Bosco offers a fantastic view of both the hills and the Alpine arc. Leave Castelnuovo Don Bosco with a short climb to Moriondo T.se, the return to Chieri is substantially flat.
From Chieri, follow the cycling path towards Pessione. From Pessione, follow signs to Riva di Chieri and then Arignano. From Arignano, continue north towards Barbaso and then Moncucco.
