Hengstpasshütte

The Hengstpass is one of the most popular excursion destinations in the Kalkalpen National Park.

The well-equipped National Park Hengstpaßhütte is located directly at the top of the pass at 964 metres.

It is an ideal starting point for mindful hikes and cycle tours in the Kalkalpen National Park. Here you will find the last great forest wilderness, the beech forests have been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Prices:
Season A: mid-May to mid-October (Pyhrn Priel Card season)

• Children's discount for families: up to 2.9 years free, 3-14.9 years € 16,- per child/night.
• for school and youth groups up to 18 years: € 30,- per person/night.
• Minimum rate for less than 10 adults € 330,- per night.

The Hengstpaßhütte is located on the edge of the Kalkalpen National Park.
The peace and quiet at the hut is unique, which is why we ask you to observe the hut quiet from 10 p.m..

On request, we are happy to organise guided tours for groups with a National Park Ranger. Depending on the season, choose an offer from the varied National Park programme.
