Lackenalmen round (SW24 + 31c)

The tour starts at the Altenmarkt-Zauchense tourist office. At the beginning it goes on the Zauchbach in the direction of Zauchensee. Then a winding, moderately uphill path leads up to the right. At the last hairpin bend in front of the Sattelbauer mountain inn, we turn sharply right again and then follow the route uphill. The ascent is now steadily steeper and requires a certain level of fitness. When you reach your destination, you will find an impressive landscape. The Lackenalm, which is managed in summer, invites you to stop by. The way back is the same way to the saddle maker. From there it continues through forest and meadows to the Wiazhaus & Hotel Winterbauer. With replenished energy reserves, we can go down the last descent to the starting point.
