Skidåkningsområde Aela / Maloja

The Aela ski area in Maloja has a platter lift, a pony lift and a new snow tubing facility. The slopes are fantastic and ideal for families. The main ski lift takes skiers from Maloja (1'817 meters) to a small peak at 2'100 meters. The spectacular view of Bregaglia's granite peaks on one side and the snow-covered Upper Engadin lake landscape on the other are so beautiful that it is a pleasure to take a break during a run and just enjoy the scenery. Not far from the large Engadin ski centers, the Aela ski area is recognized for its tranquility and simplicity. It is an ideal place for beginners, families, and nature lovers.
