FORMIGUERES, in the heart of nature
Formiguères is a natural ski resort on a human scale. The ski area covers 25 km, or 19 runs, on 180 hectares of secure terrain for off-piste skiing among the trees. The snow front has a beginners' area and ski lifts designed for beginners.

A combined teleport and chairlift provide access to the listed Camporells site, a must for ski touring and snowshoeing.
The Formiguères ski school welcomes children from an early age in the friendly surroundings of the Piou-Piou club. All the instructors are qualified and bilingual, and can provide the equipment and supervision required for Handiskiing.

For a bite to eat, the resort has a La Calmazeille restaurant and snack bar at the bottom of the slopes.
The resort also has an out-of-bag room for warm meals. There is also a relaxation area. Picnic areas are also available for families to enjoy together.

Equipment hire at the foot of the pistes. Ski passes can be purchased online at www.trio-pyrenees.com, from vending machines or from ticket offices.

-25 km of pistes. 70 snow cannons. 19 downhill ski runs: 1 black, 9 red, 6 blue, 3 green.
