Hochwurzen, your mountain for winter and summer

New from the 2024/25 season is the Rohrmoos 1 10-person gondola. It takes you from the WEST winter sports center to the Hochwurzen. It can be reached on foot from Schladming train station in 6 minutes.

No two days are the same here! And that's why there is always something to experience here!

Whether you are a beginner or a professional skier, you will find the perfect slope for you on the Hochwurzen. The Hochwurzen Funslope also provides plenty of fun and action. If you are not a fan of skiing, you can curve from the mountain to the valley on a sledge on the toboggan run.

Turn night into day and visit the Hochwurzen and the toboggan run after dark. The floodlights, the unique ambience and the very special flair offer a unique experience.

Funslope Hochwurzen
Have you heard the noises that the Speedboost makes when you cross it? Tackle the tunnel, the wave track, the steep curve or the snail - the Funslope in the Rohrmooser Weide area on the Hochwurzen ensures fun and enjoyment away from the slopes and is suitable for all ages and skill levels.

We turn night into day
The modern floodlight system makes it possible! On selected days from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. you can enjoy night skiing on the freshly groomed slopes and the atmosphere that goes with it. To ensure that you don't miss out on the culinary delights, our huts are also open for you at this time.

Tobogganing by day and night
Have you already seen our toboggan run on the Hochwurzen? At 7 km, it is one of the longest in the Alps and is open both during the day and in the evening until 9:30 p.m. Our huts provide the culinary experience to go with it! Toboggans are available to rent on site, but you are also welcome to bring your own.

Hiking in untouched nature
For those who prefer to hike through our beautiful nature, there is a special winter hiking ticket. You can hike up or down the 4-season trail on the Hochwurzen and of course float comfortably up or down the mountain in the gondola.
