Hohe Wand Wiese

The Hohe Wand Meadow is located in Vienna’s 14th district, near Mauerbach. The slope offers a beautiful mountain meadow 400 metres long with a 25% gradient. There is plenty of space to run about and let off steam.

Mountain biking for everyone

Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the UNESCO Vienna Woods Biosphere Reserve lies the Mountain Bike Trail Centre Vienna, the only urban trail centre in Europe. At the Hohe Wand Wiese, mountain bike enthusiasts will find a wide range of options: whether on family-friendly ‘Family Uphill’ trails, action-packed jumps on the ‘Kenda Airline’ jumpline, or technical riding fun on challenging routes – there’s something for everyone. An integrated lift ensures convenient transport. Children can gain their first riding experience on the “Zwutschkerl” trail. The experience is rounded off by a well-stocked bike shop and cosy dining options. Excitement awaits both beginners and pros right on Vienna’s doorstep.
