Old Forestry Office and Community Center

With the "Old Forestry Office" and the "Adler-Post" Community Center, the town of Stockach boasts two cultural venues located in the heart of the old town. The community center, Stockach's "living room," offers a hall with a stage for more than 300 people, as well as conference rooms. A remarkably rich cultural tradition thrives here: for instance, Stockach’s City Music, a modern symphonic wind orchestra, has been performing at the highest level for over 300 years. Numerous other local clubs and institutions also enrich the town's cultural offerings throughout the year in various fields.

Additionally, two professional event series organized by the town enjoy regional acclaim: the "Stockach Master Concerts", which have presented classical chamber and orchestral performances at an international level for decades, and "Cabaret in Stockach", a series that has delighted audiences with comedy and satire for many years.

The people of Stockach never need an excuse to celebrate. Their motto is: "Those who work hard, should celebrate hard!" The "Swiss Holiday", held in June, is the highlight of the annual festivities.
