This resort is both the gateway to the Swiss National Park and the ideal base for exploring the fascinating region of Switzerland bordering Italy and Austria.

The undisputed top attraction here is Switzerland’s only national park, whose 170.3 square kilometres harbour an exceptional wealth of alpine animal and plant life in a wild and untouched mountain landscape. It is the country’s largest natural reserve – and its most spectacular.

As well as being the gateway to the national park, this attractive Engadin village is home to its visitor centre, open year round. Zernez also offers an excellent range of tourist facilities, including the relaxing and fun-filled family/wellness pool, mini-golf, and a new playground.

Stretching out from the resort is a fabulous network of footpaths and bike trails; active visitors can also tackle the three Nordic Walking trails, and the “Vita-Parcours” exercise trail in the forest.
