Skidort Astún

The ski resort Astún is located in the Aragonese Pyrenees and in the municipality of the city of Jaca, 33 km away via the N-330.

The ski resort Astún is near the neighboring ski region Candanchú as well as the French border, has 42 km of pistes kilometers. The highest peak called "La Raca" is 2,300 meters high and offers a height difference of over 800 meters. At the foot of the mountain a small town has formed, which provides winter sports enthusiasts hotels, restaurants, shops and specialized equipment shops. In winter, the ski resort offers all conceivable services: lifts, nursing, restaurant and a ski school.

But even in summer several chairlifts remain open as the "Los Lagos" in Sector Truchas. There excursions are possible and different activities such as hiking, canyoning, rafting, mountain biking, climbing, etc. are offered.
