Brannenburg

Brannenburg is a state-recognised climatic health resort and is located in the wide valley basin of the Bavarian Inn Valley at the foot of the 1,838 m high Wendelstein, one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in Germany. Thanks to its central location, there are numerous excursion possibilities in the near and far surroundings.

Whether in summer or winter, Brannenburg offers young and old many leisure opportunities for a relaxing, but also a sporty and active holiday.
Brannenburg has been an official ‘e.on Bayern DSV nordic aktiv Walking Centre’ since 2007 (weekly Nordic walking meetings).

You can reach us by train via the Munich-Rosenheim-Innsbruck line (Brannenburg stop) and by car via the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway, turn off at the Inntal motorway (A 93) and take the Brannenburg exit.
Munich-Erding airport is approx. 100 km away.
From Brannenburg you can reach Munich, Salzburg or Innsbruck in just 1 hour by car.

Accessibility: The entrances and toilets at the Wendelstein cable cars and the tourist information centre are wheelchair-accessible.
