Cortina d’Ampezzo is a small town nestled in the Dolomites, a part of the Eastern Alps. It is located in the North-East of Italy, two hours north of Venice by car and close to the border with Austria.

Cortina, the Queen of the Dolomites, has a rich history going back more than a thousand years and was one of the places where mountain tourism begun.

The wide, sunny Ampezzo Valley, where Cortina is located, has been attracting visitors from the world around for over a century.
Its vast forests and meadows are surrounded by the magnificent peaks of the Dolomite Mountains, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.
