Welcome to Rosegg

The market town of Rosegg is located in the upper Rosental, between Lake Faak, Lake Wörthersee and Lake Keutschacher, just 17 km from the city of Villach and directly on the Drau - partly on an island. Walks and hikes in the idyllically located zoo and on marked hiking trails are just as possible as horse riding, cycling and fishing.

The Rosental begins in Rosegg!
Rosegg is rightly called a bike-friendly market town. The approximately 200 km long Drau cycle path R1 leads from its beginning in East Tyrol directly through Rosegg and from here on through the Carnica region of Rosental. Rosegg can therefore also be reached easily and safely by bike.
